Working with this sheet

One dot, one count

Ask the child to touch or mark each dot as they count. The last number tells how many dots are in the group.

When counting repeats

If a dot is counted twice, start again and move from left to right. Keep the range to five until matching objects to number words is comfortable.

For an adult supporting early counting. No timed work or formal grade placement.
